About me

I’m Angelo Papakostas, a photographer with a deep love for nature, wildlife, and the night sky. Photography has been part of my life since I was 10 years old, when my dad handed me a Russian FED-2 film camera and told me to have fun with it. I had no idea what I was doing—but I was hooked. I learned the hard way through trial and error, waiting excitedly for film to be developed and hoping at least one photo turned out. That sense of wonder never left me. Over time, I took photography classes, learned the technical side of the craft, and continued growing by learning from other photographers. Today, I’m still learning, still experimenting, and still chasing moments of light and detail—whether it’s wildlife, a night sky, or something incredibly small. I also love sharing what I’ve learned along the way, so if you ever have questions or need advice, don’t hesitate to reach out.
