I met this little guy this morning on my balcony. As I was chilling out observing my pot plants, I noticed it getting comfortable making its home on one of my cherry trees. I ran back inside to grab my camera and I added 6 extension tubes on my 50mm lens. I took this photo hand held and I was literally 2cm away from this little monster. Snapped away about 130 photos (trial and error with camera settings) and this one turned out really nicely … Even though its eyes are slightly blurry I’m very happy with it. You can even see my silhouette taking the photo in the reflection in its eyes!
