The closest place that I could reach the water and clean my shoes was at Wilson Bay. It was hard to get this ‘crap’ off my hiking shoes with the grooves on my sole being so deep. A good 15 minutes later of dipping my shoes in the water and rubbing them on the pebbles did the job and I was on my way.
