I drove to Lake Wanaka in search of a tree that lives happily on its own in this lake. I thought it would be a huge challenge to find it, but it turned out to be a tourist attraction and it was very easy to find.
I will be posting up this tree on a later date.
I had some lunch at the beautiful town of Wanaka, and I headed back to Queenstown. On the way back I stopped on the side of the road near Cardrona to capture this mountain.
