This is one of the many Milky Way shots I took on my recent trip to Hawaii. I wish I could stay at the peak of Mt Mauna Kea all night but I had the Park Ranger on my back chasing me to head back down the mountain as apparently it was too dangerous to stay there on my own. The summit of Mauna Kea sits at 13,800 ft and there is 40% less oxygen than at sea level and gets extremely cold at night. The weather could rapidly change to the worst having zero visibility on the way down the mountain. I must visit again soon!
